Introduction

Caregivers often serve as the first line of response during medical emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. Knowing how to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) properly can save lives before medical professionals arrive. This training provides caregiving professionals with the essential CPR knowledge and hands-on practice needed to act confidently and effectively in critical situations.

Training Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will:

·        Recognize cardiac arrest and respiratory emergencies.

·        Learn and practice adult, child, and infant CPR.

·        When and how to start CPR

Module 2: Adult CPR

·        Compression technique (depth, rate, hand placement)

·        Rescue breaths (30:2 ratio)

·        Hands-only CPR

Module 3: Child CPR

·        CPR adjustments for children (1–8 years)

·        Proper compression depth & hand technique

·        Breathing considerations

Module 4: Infant CPR

·        Two-finger chest compressions

·        Gentle rescue breaths for infants

·        Special precautions for infants

Module 5: CPR in Choking Situations

·        Adult & child choking → CPR integration

·        Infant choking management

·        Practice on manikins

Module 6: Infection Control & Caregiver Safety

·        Using gloves, face shields, barrier devices

·        Hygiene practices during CPR

Module 7: Hands-On Practice & Simulations

·        Adult, child, and infant CPR manikin drills

·        Emergency role-play scenarios

Module 8: Assessment & Certification

·        Practical CPR evaluation (all age groups)

·        Short oral/written test

·        Issuance of CPR Certificate (valid 2 years)
