Introduction

Caregiving professionals often serve as the first responders in emergencies at homes, elderly care facilities, or healthcare support environments. Immediate and correct first aid can save lives, reduce the severity of injuries, and provide comfort to patients until advanced medical help arrives.
This training equips caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively to common medical emergencies they may encounter in their caregiving duties.

Training Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Module 11: Infection Control & Safety

Module 12: Casualty Handling & Transport

·        Safe lifting and moving techniques

·        Improvised methods (blankets, chairs, stretchers)

·        Teamwork in casualty handling

Module 13: Practice & Simulation

·        Hands-on CPR, bandaging, splinting

·        Mock emergency response drills

·        Team exercises for caregiving emergencies
